What is Virtualization?
Virtualization is a computer software, system, or technique that creates and runs virtual machines on one physical machine. A virtual machine is a software emulation of an actual physical device such as a PC (personal computer) or server, which allows you to run all of your applications on one ‘host’ operating system. This means that you can use up more resources and save money by not having to purchase another piece of hardware for your needs.
What is Virtualization Engineer
A virtualization engineer is an IT professional who creates, installs and manages virtual machines (VM)s. A virtual machine is an emulation of a computer system created within another computer system. VMs are also called guest machines or hosted systems because they're being hosted by another operating system, or host.
