There are several different types of scholarships available, including academic scholarships, sports scholarships, and international scholarships. Academic scholarships are given to students who demonstrate exceptional ability in their field of study. Academic scholarships are often awarded based on one’s grade point average (GPA), standardized test scores (such as the SAT or ACT), or the number of school credits earned.
